A .577-450 (M/H) SINGLE-SHOT SERVICE-RIFLE, MODEL 'MKIV LONG-LEVER', serial no. 1048,
dated for 1886, with 33in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, the breech with numerous ordnance inspectors marks and stamped 'K.K. A' with sold out of service arrows, slab-sided action, walnut butt-stock with arched wrist, iron heel-plate with brass screws, long cocking lever, walnut three-quarter length fore-end, iron clearing rod and a later leather sling, much period finish remaining
